The car is a 1981 Mercedes Benz Wagon. The Mercedes was originally purchased by my grandmother, with the intention of my uncle (JB) using it longterm.
When I was younger I had a chance to view my uncles car for an afternoon, at which point I fell in love. JB’s Toy wasn’t spoke of before that day, as my uncle lived many states away, and I never saw the car again. As quickly as I found out about the car, I just as quickly forgot about the car.Later in life, as an adult, there were a few “life events” that brought family together. It was at these events my uncle would make a point to say “Nephew, I’ve got some antiques in your grandmothers barn…….. You will know what to do with them! I had no idea what type of “antiques” he spoke of, as he ran the “family farm”, I always assumed he was talking about farming equipment.
